HOME VISITORS

You will be visiting someone who is lonely or isolated to give them some company for an hour or two each week.

They may enjoy playing cards, reminiscing about the past, having a good gossip and finding out about what is happening in their local community.

As a Home Visiting Volunteer you can make an enormous difference to the life of someone who may not have family and friends nearby. As an essential part of the Well Bring at Home service you will have the opportunity to show a friendly face and encourage the person you are visiting to have a more positive outlook on life.

Our Well Being at Home Befriending Service Co-ordinator will provide training and support and be available if you have questions or want information. We will pay your travel expenses to and from the person you are visiting and we have volunteer events every two months.
