Shopmobility provides fantastic facilities for those with mobility challenges whether temporary or permanent and regardless of age or disability.

The service can be used in and around the town centre for shopping, entertainment or business.

We offer a choice of manual or powered wheelchairs or electric scooters for all abilities.

Our friendly and helpful team of staff and volunteers will help you choose exactly the right equipment to suit your needs and abilities and show you how to operate your vehicle safely.

We recommend that you book in advance to ensure there is a vehicle available.

Registration is quick and easy and equipment may be hired for a few hours and arrangements can be made for longer periods of hire.

Annual Membership    £10

Temporary Membership for visitors   £5

Daily Hire charge  £5

We are open from 9.30am  -  3pm, Monday to Friday

Please note: we are able to offer hire until 5pm by appointment only (at no extra charge). 

We are also open on the first Saturday of every month, from 9am to 12noon.

Scooter and Wheelchair hire is available from "All Things Volunteering", Unit 14, County Square, Ashford, TN23 1YB. Users must be able to get to the shop to pick up their scooter / wheelchair or send a representative to collect it on their behalf.

We are unable to offer a drop off / pick up service with the scooters and wheelchairs.
