CRIMINAL RECORDS BUREAU CHECKS
Volunteering Ashford has been registered with the Criminal Records Bureau as an Umbrella Body since 2003.
Getting a Criminal Record Check for an employee or volunteer is straight forward, providing you go through the correct channels. The Criminal Records Bureau does not accept applications from organisations unless they are a "Registered Body". Some local voluntary and community groups are able to use their own regional or national structures to access checks, but many more local groups are not able to do that. These groups must access CRB checks through Umbrella Bodies.
Our personal services means there is someone at the end of the phone to guide you step-by-step through the process. We offer face-to-face training, advice and guidance to take the worry from you.
